Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 4 cups cubed watermelon
  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 6 cups ice cubes
  • 3 cups cold water

Instructions
 

  • Blend watermelon until smooth.
  • Strain through a fine mesh sieve.
  • Boil sugar and ½ cup water until dissolved (about 5 minutes).
  • Remove from heat and stir in 3 cups cold water and lemon juice.
  • Fill glasses with ice.
  • Add 2–3 tablespoons watermelon puree to each.
  • Pour lemonade over and stir gently.

Notes

  • Use seedless watermelon for easier blending and smoother texture.
  • For extra flavor, add a few fresh mint leaves to the blender or each glass.
