- ¼ lb deli turkey
- 1 tomato sliced
- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 3 strips bacon
- 1 tbsp butter
Red Wine Vinegar Mayo
- 1 tsp red wine vinegar
- fresh ground pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp mayo
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, and black pepper, then set aside.
Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy, flipping as needed.
Once done, remove and set aside.
Place the turkey slices flat on a plate and warm them in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
Butter the outside of your bread slices, then layer with cheese, turkey, bacon, and tomato.
Spread the red wine vinegar mayo on the second slice of bread and place it on top to complete the sandwich.
Heat a skillet over medium-low heat, then add the sandwich.
Cook until the bread turns golden brown and the cheese melts.
Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until equally golden.
Once done, slice the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
- Use thick-cut bacon for extra crunch and flavor.
- Swap turkey for leftover chicken or deli ham for variety.
- Add avocado slices or spinach for extra texture and nutrition.
