Peach Iced Tea
This Peach Iced Tea combines brewed black tea with fresh peach slices and mint leaves, resulting in a fragrant, cool beverage with a layered aroma and a slightly fruity, refreshing flavor. The final product is a clear, amber-colored drink with tender peach slices and sprigs of mint, served over ice.

Ingredients
- 4 cups water for brewing tea
- 4 bags black tea bags
- 2 ripe peaches pitted and sliced
- fresh few sprigs mint leaves
- to taste honey or sugar optional, for sweetness
- ice cubes as needed ice
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Once boiling, remove from heat and steep black tea bags in the hot water for about 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
- While the tea is cooling, slice the ripe peaches into thin wedges, removing the pits, and set aside. Gently crush or clap mint leaves between your palms to release their aroma.
- Pour the cooled tea into a large pitcher. Add honey or sugar if you prefer a sweeter drink, stirring until fully dissolved.
- Add the sliced peaches and mint leaves to the tea. Stir gently to combine and let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes, then pour the infused tea over the ice, ensuring each glass gets some peaches and mint for visual appeal and flavor.
- Garnish each glass with an extra sprig of mint and a peach slice if desired. Serve immediately for a refreshing summer treat.
Notes
For a more intense peach flavor, blend some of the peach slices with a little honey and add to the tea before serving.
