Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp vegetable/sunflower oil
  • Pinch sugar (optional)
  • 1 tbsp light soy
  • 1 spring onion, finely chopped
  • ½ tbsp dark soy
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • ¾ tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 100 g noodles (dry weight), cooked

Instructions
 

  • Place minced garlic, chopped spring onions, and chili flakes in a medium bowl.
  • Heat oil in a small saucepan over high heat until sizzling hot (test with a chopstick; the oil should sizzle).
  • Carefully pour the hot oil over the garlic mixture and stir to combine.
  • Add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, white wine vinegar, tahini, and a pinch of sugar, mixing until smooth.
  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions and drain them well.
  • Toss the cooked noodles in the prepared sauce, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Serve the creamy garlic noodles with a sprinkle of chili flakes on top.
