Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese cut into cubes
  • 6 chicken breasts
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 10½ oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1.4 oz Italian dressing seasoning 2 packets

Instructions
 

  • Place the chicken breasts in the Crockpot in an even layer.
  • Sprinkle Italian seasoning evenly over the chicken.
  • Add the cream of chicken soup, spreading it over the chicken breasts.
  • Cut the cream cheese into cubes and scatter them on top of the chicken and soup.
  • Pour chicken broth over the ingredients in the Crockpot.
  • Cover the Crockpot with the lid and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours.
  • Carefully remove the cooked chicken breasts from the Crockpot and shred them using two forks.
  • Return the shredded chicken to the Crockpot and mix it well with the creamy sauce.
  • Allow the mixture to heat through for a few minutes to blend the flavors.
  • Serve the creamy Italian chicken over rice or cooked noodles, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add minced garlic or diced onions to the Crockpot before cooking.
  • You can substitute chicken thighs for a juicier texture.
