Equipment

  • Serving platter
  • Saucepan
  • Measuring spoons
  • Mixing bowls

Ingredients

  • ½ cup low sodium ketchup
  • ½ tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • cup honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  • Place chicken thighs evenly in the bottom of a slow cooker; set aside.
  • In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, ketchup, soy sauce, oregano, and parsley until fully mixed.
  • Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the chicken thighs.
  • Secure the lid on the slow cooker and choose your cooking time: 4–5 hours on LOW or 3–4 hours on HIGH.
  • Once cooked, carefully remove the lid and transfer the chicken thighs to a serving platter.
  • Stir the remaining sauce in the slow cooker to ensure even consistency.
  • Drizzle the sauce generously over the chicken thighs.
  • Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds for a final garnish.
  • Serve warm and enjoy this flavorful dish!

Notes

  • Avoid overcrowding the chicken thighs in the slow cooker to allow the sauce to coat them fully.
  • If you prefer a less sweet flavor, reduce the honey by a tablespoon and taste the sauce before cooking.
