Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium ripe tomato
  • 4 medium bagels everything bagel flavor
  • 12 oz slices deli turkey breast
  • cup banana peppers sliced
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 slices Colby jack cheese
  • 4 leaves lettuce romaine or green leaf
  • 1 small red onion

Instructions
 

  • Slice the bagels in half and toast them until slightly golden.
  • While they toast, thinly slice the red onion into rings, slice the tomato, rinse and pat the lettuce dry, and slice the cucumber.
  • Once the bagels are ready, place them on a clean surface and spread Dijon mustard on each half.
  • Layer the lettuce, turkey, cheese, tomato, cucumber, banana peppers, and red onion over one half, then top with the other bagel half.
  • Gently press down and cut the sandwich in half before serving.

Notes

  • Use a serrated knife for easy slicing without squishing the bagel.
  • Try flavored bagels like everything or sesame for extra taste.
  • Swap Dijon mustard for cream cheese or hummus for a different twist.
