Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups ice cubes preferably crushed or crushed further
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice about 2-3 lemons, juiced
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup or honey adjust sweetness to taste
  • 1 cup cold water to help blend and adjust consistency
  • Optional mint sprig or lemon wedge for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Juice the lemons using a juicer or reamer until you have about half a cup of fresh lemon juice. Set aside.
  • Measure out the ice cubes and crush them further if needed, aiming for a fine, snow-like texture.
  • Add the crushed ice to your blender, followed by the fresh lemon juice, sweetener, and cold water.
  • Blend everything on high speed until the mixture is smooth, thick, and icy, about 30-45 seconds. You should see a frosty, spoonable texture.
  • Taste the slushie and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or syrup if desired. Blend again briefly if you add anything.
  • Pour the lemonade slushie into glasses, garnishing each with a sprig of mint or a lemon wedge for a bright, inviting presentation.
  • Serve immediately with a straw or spoon, enjoying the icy, tart flavor and refreshing chill.

Notes

For best results, use very cold water and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Crushing the ice finely helps achieve a smooth, consistent slushie. Feel free to customize sweetness and garnishes to your liking.
