Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Kool Aid Powder any flavor, bright color preferred
  • 250 ml cold water chilled for best results
  • 1.5 cups ice cubes crushed or whole

Instructions

  • Pour the cold water into a measuring cup and add the Kool Aid powder, stirring until completely dissolved with a bright, aromatic scent filling the air.
  • Transfer the flavored water into the blender, then add 1 to 1.5 cups of ice cubes to achieve your desired slushiness.
  • Blend on high speed until the ice is broken down into a thick, icy mixture that looks like a vibrant, slushy soup, with a slight crunchiness in texture.
  • Check the consistency—if it’s too runny, add more ice and pulse again; if it’s too thick, splash in a little more cold water and blend briefly.
  • Taste a small spoonful—if you want it sweeter, stir in a pinch of sugar or honey directly into the blender and give it a quick pulse.
  • Transfer the mixture to a container and freeze for 15-20 minutes, stirring gently every 5 minutes to prevent large ice crystals and keep the texture fluffy.
  • Once frozen to your liking, scoop the vibrant slushie into glasses and garnish with a cherry or a twist of citrus for extra visual pop.
  • Enjoy immediately to experience that instant cold, sweet chaos—crunchy, colorful, and refreshingly nostalgic.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different Kool Aid flavors or add a splash of lemon juice for extra zing. For a creamier version, blend in a splash of milk or use frozen fruit instead of ice.
