Ingredients

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 lb salmon
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ tsp onion powder

Instructions

  • In another bowl or measuring cup, whisk together honey, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and sriracha to make the sauce.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • On a cutting board, carefully remove the skin from the salmon and cut it into 1-inch cubes.
  • Place the salmon pieces in a mixing bowl, sprinkle with the prepared spice mixture, and toss gently to coat.
  • Add coconut oil to the skillet, then spread the salmon pieces in a single layer and cook for one minute.

  • Continue cooking for another 60 to 90 seconds until the salmon is well-glazed.
  • Remove from heat and let the skillet sit for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can also try to sear the salmon for an additional 30 seconds before adding the sauce.
  • Adjust the spice level by increasing or decreasing the sriracha to suit your taste.
  • Use a fish spatula to carefully flip the salmon bites without breaking them.
  • Pair with steamed rice, quinoa, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
