Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour For the cake base
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Adds sweetness

  • 1 tsp baking soda Leavening agent
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon For warming spice flavor
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter For moisture and richness
  • 2 large eggs Binding agent
  • 1 cup cream cheese For frosting
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar For sweetness in frosting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, and ground cinnamon.

  • Add the grated carrots, melted butter, and eggs to the dry mixture, and stir until well combined.

  • Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting with cream cheese frosting.
