Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • 1 stick of unsalted butter
  • 2 lbs thick-cut New York strip steaks
  • ½ tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • ½ tsp kosher salt

Instructions
 

  • Peel and mince 4 garlic cloves, then combine them in a bowl with black pepper.
  • Chop fresh parsley leaves until you have 1/4 cup, then set aside in a small bowl.
  • Cut 2 pounds of New York strip steak into 1-inch cubes, seasoning them with kosher salt.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt one stick of unsalted butter.
  • Add the steak cubes to the skillet and sear until browned on all sides, flipping halfway through, about 6 to 8 minutes total.
  • Stir in the garlic and black pepper, cooking for one additional minute until fragrant.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and garnish the steak bites with the chopped parsley.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes when cooking the garlic.
  • Ensure the steak is at room temperature before cooking for even searing.
