- 6 slices bacon cut in half lengthwise
- 12 pieces fresh figs halved
- 4 oz goat cheese softened
- 12 small fresh pomegranate seeds for garnish
- 1 tablespoon honey optional, for drizzling
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Wrap each bacon half around a halved fig, securing it with a toothpick. Flatten slightly to ensure even contact between bacon and fig.
Place the assembled bacon-fig bites onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly apart.
Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and golden, and the figs are soft and bubbling.
Meanwhile, scoop the softened goat cheese into a small bowl and whisk it gently until smooth and creamy.
Once baked, remove the bites from the oven and let them cool slightly for a minute or two.
Using a small spoon, dollop a little goat cheese on top of each bacon-wrapped fig bite, or spread it gently with the back of the spoon for an even layer.
Garnish each bite with a few pomegranate seeds and, if desired, drizzle lightly with honey for added sweetness.
Arrange the bites on a serving platter and serve warm or at room temperature, allowing guests to enjoy the combination of crispy bacon, soft figs, and creamy cheese.
