Spoon or cookie scoop
- 32 oz dry roasted or cocktail peanuts
- 12 oz bag semisweet chocolate chips
- holiday sprinkles (optional)
- 2 lbs white almond bark (might be labeled as white candy coating), broken or chopped into smaller squares
- 4 oz bar German sweet chocolate, broken or chopped into smaller squares
Lightly spray the slow cooker insert with non-stick cooking spray.
Add chopped almond bark, chocolate chips, and German chocolate to the slow cooker.
Place a clean kitchen towel over the slow cooker, then cover with the lid.
Cook on HIGH for 1 hour, then reduce to LOW for another hour, stirring every 15-20 minutes.
Remove the lid and towel carefully to prevent condensation from dripping into the chocolate.
Stir in peanuts until fully coated.
Drop spoonfuls of the candy mixture onto wax-paper-lined baking sheets.
Sprinkle with decorations, if desired, and cool until set.
Serve when firm and enjoy.
- Add sprinkles, crushed candy canes, or chopped nuts for a festive twist.
