Equipment

  • Rolling pinnacle or spoon
  • Pizza cutter or knife
  • Spray bottle for oil

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 4 oz pepperoni
  • ½ cup pizza sauce

Instructions
 

  • Split the pizza dough into 4 equal portions.
  • Roll out each portion into a round pizza shape using your hands.
  • Spread Alfredo sauce on half of each dough piece, leaving the edges clean.
  • Layer cheese on top of the sauce.
  • Add a layer of cooked chicken.
  • Fold the dough over to form a half-circle.
  • Pinch the edges together to seal the calzone.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil and place each calzone into the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry in batches at 375°F for 7-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Once golden brown, remove and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken with other protein like turkey or even vegetables.
  • Add more veggies like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • For a crispier texture, brush the outside of the calzones with olive oil before air frying.
