Well, tonight I needed to write the next blog post for the every-other-Wednesday series … buuuut I just realized I left my laptop charger at someone’s house. And our other charger is packed somewhere. And my battery is about to die. Oops. Plus we are still getting settled and it’s been almost a week since we’ve had a good night’s sleep. One night we got a full 45 minutes of sleep. Yeaaaah, that doesn’t quite cut it. ;) So I’m bowing out for today, but I leave you a couple fun quotes our 4 year old said today while we driving around Boston:
“This is infinity cool and infinity fun!” (while driving through the “Big Dig”)
“This is a cool Boston!”
“I’m so glad we’ve moved here.”
Yeah, me too. :)
Anyway, since I don’t have a great post to offer, please feel free to leave a link to a post of yours or someone else’s that you want to share, and we can find some fun blogs in the comments. I always enjoy hearing from you! :)
Hi April! Bummer about your charger. I’ve been there (but for me it’s usually the camera). Anyway, just found your blog yesterday, and I love it! As soon as I started reading, I knew I had to subscribe. I love how even this post–with not much content (hope you aren’t offended) can still be engaging. I can only aspire to do that! But I’m getting better, I think. I hope you had a great night’s sleep!
Aw, thanks! TOTALLY not offended at all – I typed it so quickly I just now noticed today (after we found the extra charger) that I had the embarrassing type “bettery is about to bie” HAHA! Oops. :) Fixed it now though. But I really appreciate your words of encouragement, thanks! :)
Hi! Please take some rest! Good post about letting it go, from time to time!
If you want to do nothin, and take time, why not look at some colors and just dream?

And by the way, I love your blog!

Thanks for sharing! :) And yes – I really did get some good sleep … finally!
Gosh, only 45 minutes of sleep!? That’s really harsh, I would be dead with that little sleep! Hope you can take a breather, catch up on some much needed sleep and start fresh again. In the meantime, if someones interested in crafting your own style, you’re so welcome at my blog http://www.pearlsandscissors.com.
Love your blog and your name, April! April is such a beautiful name :)

Love your blog name – how fun! Thanks for sharing! :) Yep, it felt good to catch up :)
Tell that little girl that we, too, are so glad you moved here. We look forward to “infinity fun” with all of you in days to come. :-)
I let her know – we’re looking forward to seeing you this weekend, Lord willing!
Hahaha – sorry! The same thing happened to me, well, with my camera batteries on our recent trip to Washington. Pretty bad for a photographer – duh!
Since you asked, I am posting my Wordless Wednesday w/link-up http://imagesbycw.com/wordless-wednesday-august-29/
Thank you!
Ohh, I feel your pain!! And thanks for sharing your post :)
Welcome to New England! Boston is an amazing city with so much to see and do. Glad to hear your kids are excited with their new digs.
Sorry to hear about the lack of sleep. That makes life a bit more challenging.
As far as a short post…perhaps it was a nudge to let go of the blog today and focus on you and your family. :-)
And since you so sweetly invited a link, here is mine with a fresh perspective on finding a little breathing room in your life: Curiosity did not kill the cat-It gave her room to breathe. http://www.toodarnhappy.com/2012/08/27/curiosity/
Haha, well, as far as a nudge – now that we’ve moved, my online shop/blog/etc. is our family’s only source of income! So, of course, we are getting to spend a lot of time together in this new adventure .. but I can’t really step away completely right from my online work right now. But it did feel good to take a day off, at least. And thanks for sharing your post! :)
Oh my, the actual act of moving is so stressful. Thank goodness it brings with it the excitement of a new place and a new life. Good luck in Boston, what a great place to find yourself. It seems like all my blogger favorites are moving there. Do you know Kira, from Her New Leaf? She just moved there too.
Thanks for asking us to share. I just finished a post last night about how I organize my clear stamps. Enjoy!

Hm, no, I don’t know her, but I’ll have to try and check out her blog! :) And thanks so much for sharing your post! :)
I like a woman who can be honest about making a mistake, especially the kind of mistake I make all the time.
Let me throw my latest free printable into the ring just in case anyone feels like making something today

Isn’t blogging time consuming? I can’t believe you had the time (or made the time) to post, check comments and respond to them. I kept coming back to see if you had made it to Boston and how the trip went. I’m glad you guys made it, and I hope you get rested and familiar with your new city.
Here’s some fun DIY for you and your readers. But something tells me that you probably don’t have time right now for any DIYing. ;)

Ah, New England. I’m just a wee bit envious. Hope you are able to take your time and settle in and enjoy your new city! Perfect time of year to move there, I think. (Did I mention I’m envious?!)
